Full job description

Graduate Trainee - Pest Solutions (Edinburgh)

Location - Edinburgh
£29,700 - £38,500 OTE

You will move through the following qualifications and bandings in the 3-year Pest Solutions Graduate Scheme:

  • 1. Trainee Graduate Service Technician = £28,500 basic + bonus & incentives before commission & overtime (first 9 months)
  • 2. Graduate Service Technician (RSPH Level 2 Qualified ) = £30,000 basic + bonus & incentives before commission & overtime (target = 9 months).
  • 3. Graduate Advanced Service Technician (BPCA Certificated Advanced Technician) = £31,000 basic + bonus & incentives before commission & overtime (target = 18-24 months).
  • 4. Graduate Field Biologist (BPCA Certificated Field Biologist) = £32,000 -£37,000 basic + bonus & incentives before commission & overtime (target = 30-36 months).
  • Based on our April 2026 salary model.
  • The opportunity to apply for progression based on merit upon completion of the Graduate Scheme via Service, Team Leader, Technical, Sales, Management and other roles as they become available in our fast-growing company.

Requirements:

You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, have great communication skills, excellent customer service skills and have the ability to show empathy to your customers. You will use your graduate experience to help develop solutions for pest problems as well as improve the customer experience.

As a fast-growing, ambitious organisation, after a successful period as a pest control technician, you would have the opportunity to choose your own career path down the following routes:

Sound Good? We’re looking for Graduates who:

  • Have a minimum of a 2.2 in a Science degree
  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • Enjoy meeting and interacting with people daily
  • Are looking to start a career and progress within the Pest Control industry.
  • Want to work hard and be successful and also who like to have fun
  • Satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the DBS / Disclosure Scotland
  • All candidates must be UK-based and have the right to work in the UK (overseas candidates will not be considered).
