Full job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create high-quality 2D and 3D graphics, including characters, environments, UI elements, and visual effects.
  • Collaborate with the game development team and creative team to conceptualise, design, and implement visual assets.
  • Work with a variety of Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) for 2D art, and utilise 3D modelling tools (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max) for 3D assets.
  • Maintain a consistent art style across projects and ensure visual elements align with the overall brand presence, game’s vision, and mechanics.
  • Provide creative input during collaborative sessions and contribute to the overall visual direction of projects.
  • Optimise artwork for performance and ensure assets meet technical requirements for different platforms.
  • Participate in feedback sessions and adapt designs based on team input and user testing.
  • Add value to the wider marketing and sales teams by contributing to a variety of creative tasks.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Artist or similar.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Strong skills in 3D modelling software (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or equivalent).
  • Excellent eye for detail, colour, composition, and overall aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for art and design.
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Beneficial knowledge of Unity for integrating and testing game assets.
  • Beneficial knowledge of the UK Casino and Arcade gaming sector.
  • Beneficial knowledge of slot machine games.

Qualifications (and or) Relevant Experience

  • Experience with animation and or motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques.
  • Knowledge of visual asset optimisation and best practices for multi-platform applications.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of 2D, and 3D art assets.
