This role offers a structured, professional setting where your assessment, communication, and clinical judgement skills are truly valued. You will use your healthcare background to support individuals applying for Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and Work Capability Assessments (WCA) on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

This is an ideal opportunity for clinicians seeking work–life balance, stability, and a new direction without leaving healthcare behind.

  • Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • IT competent with good typing ability
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Experience working with a range of complex health conditions
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conducting telephone and face-to-face assessments
  • Evaluating how health conditions impact daily living and functional ability
  • Producing detailed, evidence-based clinical reports
  • Working in a hybrid model – home and assessment centre
What You’ll Get in Return
  • Monday to Friday working – no nights, no weekends, no bank holidays
  • Hybrid working for improved work–life balance
  • Full paid training and structured induction
  • Ongoing professional development and support
  • Generous annual leave and pension scheme
  • Supportive, professional team environment
  • Long-term career stability outside of ward pressures
