About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, practical and technically minded person to join our team installing and commissioning security and networking systems.

Previous security systems experience is not essential. Applicants with hands-on experience in electrical installation or a similar trade are welcome. We provide specialist training in the systems we install.

This hands-on role involves the physical installation, testing, commissioning and repair of:

  • CCTV systems.
  • Door entry and access control systems.
  • Intruder alarm systems.
  • Networking and Wi-Fi systems.

The work includes running cables, fitting equipment neatly, setting up systems and diagnosing faults.

Experience & Requirements

Previous hands-on installation experience is essential. Ideally, you will have at least one year of relevant experience, although applicants with less experience who can demonstrate strong practical skills will also be considered.

You should have:

  • Confidence using hand and power tools, running cables and fitting equipment.
  • A basic understanding of electrical wiring and safe working practices.
  • Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • A reliable, responsible approach and the ability to work independently as your skills develop.

A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.

We value practical ability, reliability and pride in your work more than a specific number of years of experience.

Training & Progression

We provide specialist training, a company van and all necessary tools and equipment.

Your salary will be reviewed as your skills and responsibilities develop, with the potential to progress to £40,000+ per year as you become capable of installing and commissioning our systems independently.
