Full job description

We are a family run business with a Head Office based in Uddingston. To support and nurture junior talent and support internal promotion, we are looking to recruit another enthusiastic apprentice into our friendly, hardworking systems administration team.

You'll be supported from day 1! We will pair you with a dedicated mentor who will show you the ropes! You will shadow different departments, familiarising yourself with the company's products and services to ensure you will feel comfortable in your new apprenticeship role.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a super user of QLOAD, taking ownership of quotations, pricing, product management, and order processing

  • Act as first point of when external or internal stakeholder call in, answer the phones appropriately and log inquiry as ticket

  • Support day-to-day operations and ensure accurate management of information across business systems

  • Use collaborative tech such as teams and share point to access information and communicate with external and internal stakeholders

  • Use Microsoft Excel for planning, tracking, reporting, and data management and Microsoft Word for documentation, production packs, and general administrative tasks

  • As experience develops, take responsibility for planning flooring beds and creating work packs for the joinery and reinforcement teams

  • Provide digital support to onsite factory operations and production requirements

  • Ensure compliance procedures and best working practices are followed while developing skills through mentoring, training, and shadowing opportunities
