United Wholesale are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our growing team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to start their career in a finance role to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced wholesale environment, and work towards a recognised qualification. You'll receive full training, ongoing support, and the chance to develop valuable skills while working alongside experienced professionals. Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers and clients, responding to enquiries relating to orders and diary bookings

  • Printing and accurately matching invoices within the purchase ledger before processing and inputting them into the Open Accounts system

  • Managing supplier statements and maintaining effective communication with suppliers to resolve queries and ensure account accuracy

  • Working collaboratively with the Buying Department to verify that order details and costings are correct

  • Using the Venty document management system to update and maintain accurate records

  • Utilising InView to manage finance documentation and update customer account information

  • Using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, to support day-to-day administrative and financial tasks

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch break
