Art Teacher – Bury – September 2026

Choice Teachers are currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in Bury to recruit a full-time Art Teacher starting in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming school in a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school has Teaching Assistant support in place and a strong leadership team committed to staff development and pupil success.

The Role

  • Full-time Art Teacher
  • September 2026 start
  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Art
  • Full planning, marking and assessment responsibilities included

  • Supportive Art department and leadership team

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Hold QTS status
  • Be an ECT or experienced Art Teacher
  • Have experience teaching Art at secondary level
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
  • Be committed to raising attainment and pupil progress
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
  • Be willing to contribute to the wider school community
