Pre-Press/Artworker:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pre-Press / Artworker to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves working across a variety of projects, supporting the wider design and production teams, and ensuring all artwork is prepared to the highest standards for print. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a strong team player, and capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines. As we operate within a PC-based studio environment, a high level of proficiency in Windows is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and processing artwork for print across a range of projects
  • Checking artwork for image quality, dimensions, layout, and print readiness
  • Resizing and adapting files using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Adding die-cutting and perforation lines where required
  • Troubleshooting and resolving artwork issues that may affect print output
  • Managing files in a structured and methodical manner
  • Liaising with customers, as well as internal sales and production teams, to ensure deadlines are met
  • Utilising Switch automation tools for proofing, PDF preflight, and imposition (full training provided)
  • Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a pre-press or artworker role
  • Strong knowledge of artwork preparation, pre-press, and reprographic procedures
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Professional)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately at pace
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Working knowledge of Enfocus PitStop Pro and Acrobat Professional

You will be a proactive and adaptable individual with a keen eye for detail, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. A solid understanding of pre-press processes and the ability to troubleshoot print issues are essential for success in this role.
