DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR
Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee

At Thorntons Law, every moment matters. Join our Marketing team and you’ll feel inspired. You’ll feel connected. You’ll feel like you belong. And it all begins from the moment you join us.

That’s because we’ve created a different kind of law firm. Here, you’ll build relationships with clients and colleagues that really last. You’ll help shape what happens now, and what comes next. And we’ll support and encourage you to be the best you can be.

This is what life at Thorntons is all about. And this is your moment to be part of it.

About the role

As Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering Thorntons’ digital marketing activity and strengthening the firm’s online presence. You will support the delivery of high-quality digital campaigns and content that enhances brand visibility, engages priority audiences and contributes to the firm’s wider marketing and business development objectives.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day activity across the firm’s digital channels, supporting website management, content creation, email marketing, CRM, social media and paid digital activity. You will work closely with colleagues across Marketing and Business Development, fee earners, business services teams and external partners to ensure digital activity is well coordinated, effectively delivered and informed by performance insights.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that combines content creation, campaign delivery, digital channel management and performance analysis. Your work will help ensure Thorntons’ digital presence is professional, engaging, accessible and aligned with the firm’s wider marketing and communications strategy. It’s about:

  • Website & Content Coordination - supporting the day-to-day management of the Thorntons website, including uploading, editing and reviewing content through the CMS, coordinating updates and helping ensure information remains accurate, accessible and up to date.
  • SEO & Content Optimisation - applying SEO best practice to website content, including page titles, metadata, headings, internal links and content structure, helping to improve visibility and user experience.
  • Social Media & Content Creation - coordinating day-to-day activity across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, creating and scheduling engaging content while maintaining a consistent digital presence.
  • Email Marketing & CRM - supporting the creation, testing and delivery of targeted email campaigns and helping maintain accurate audience and campaign data within the firm’s CRM and email marketing systems.
  • Paid Digital Marketing - supporting paid search and social activity, coordinating campaign content and assets and working with the Digital Marketing Manager and specialist agencies where appropriate.
  • Campaign Support - supporting digital campaigns across marketing initiatives, events, recruitment activity and thought leadership programmes, ensuring activity is delivered effectively and aligned with wider marketing and business development objectives.
  • Analytics & Reporting - monitoring website, campaign, social media and email performance using digital analytics tools, producing reports and insights and identifying opportunities to improve performance and engagement.
  • Digital Innovation & Best Practice - staying informed about emerging digital marketing trends, formats, platforms and technologies, and identifying opportunities to test and improve the firm’s digital approach.
  • Collaboration - liaising closely with the wider Marketing and Business Development team, fee earners, business services teams and external partners to ensure digital activity is well coordinated and effectively delivered.
