Full job description

As Assistant Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the management team and ensuring the smooth operation of the park. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experiences and overseeing the daily operations of our team and facility. You'll have a natural ability to anticipate customer needs, exceed their expectations, and foster a positive and energetic atmosphere. You will also be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for both our customers and team members. You will also be responsible for the training, mentoring and development of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience Excellence: Deliver outstanding service that delights our customers, encourages repeat visits, and builds brand loyalty.
  • Team Leadership and Motivation: Lead, direct, and motivate Crew Members to provide consistently high-quality service and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operational Management: Maintain a visible presence throughout the park, proactively address customer needs and expectations, and ensure all operations adhere to brand standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the site is safe and secure, prioritising the health and safety of both colleagues and customers in all actions and decisions.
  • Problem Solving and Resolution: Anticipate potential issues, implement preventative measures, and take ownership of resolving problems effectively and efficiently. Empower the team to do the same.
  • Facility Operations: Manage the opening and closing of the park, perform cash and transaction reconciliation, and ensure cash security and compliance with financial procedures.
  • Day-to-Day Management: Be actively involved in the daily running of the park, addressing any operational needs as they arise.
  • Staff Development: Ensure all staff are undertaking and completing their designated roles, and provide ongoing mentoring and training.
