Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Optical Advisor to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance to clients regarding eyewear options, ensuring a high standard of customer service and technical support. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in selecting suitable eyewear based on their individual needs and preferences
  • Provide detailed advice on lens types, frame styles, and optical features
  • Conduct basic eye examinations and assessments in collaboration with optometrists when required
  • Maintain accurate records of client prescriptions and preferences
  • Support the laboratory team with lens fitting and adjustments as needed
  • Educate clients on proper eyewear care and maintenance
  • Ensure all customer interactions adhere to health and safety standards, including infection control protocols
  • Keep the optical displays tidy, organised, and fully stocked with appropriate stock levels

Experience

  • Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable, providing familiarity with lens processing and fitting procedures
  • Knowledge of human anatomy related to the eye enhances the ability to advise clients effectively
