Our company is hiring a Junior Audio-Visual Technician to work in a small team-oriented environment. We are an award-winning company installing high end pro audio equipment into venues and events, installing on a permanent and temporary basis. We are looking for creative and innovative people who can operate independently or as a team to support our events, venues and customers.
This individual should have some experience in the audio industry or education. Audio Feed is predominantly an audio installation company working normal office hours, 4 days per week, but during the summer we carry out large scale projects at music festivals which require working away for up to a week at a time. There will be a requirement to work outside of office hours, mainly during the summer. The nature of the industry means that plans and customer requirements can change up until the last minute, and we as a company need to adapt quickly to deliver what our customers require. Unlike many event companies, Audio Feed operates a good work-life balance, traditionally fast paced in the summer, counterbalanced in the winter.
A passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional sound. We believe great technicians are made through opportunity, support, and real‑world experience, and we’re ready to invest in the right person.

- Project management of small and large-scale music events
- Managing the inventory system for the company’s allocation of equipment, testing, repairs and prep for upcoming events
- Preparing and De-prepping projects
- Assist with the design, planning, and integration of systems for new installations (AV systems, cabling, networking, control systems)
- Fault finding, record keeping, and monitoring of all audio-visual and lighting control systems
- Experience in lighting preferred, but not a requirement
- Working hours are Tuesday – Friday 930am -530pm, but in the summer we work away on projects away from home for up to a week at a time
Responsibilities:
- Management and maintenance of existing music venues

- Working at large-scale music events during the summertime
- Preparation of equipment for installation or hire
- Checking back in, de-prepping equipment for delivery and hire

Role requirements:
- A calm, problem‑solving mindset when the crowd is loud and the clock is ticking
- Basic technical understanding of audio equipment (we’ll train you on the rest)
- Basic practical skills with wall fixings and general building tasks
- Curiosity, reliability, and a genuine love for live music
- Some experience in the music industry essential
- Experience in event lighting preferrable, but not necessary
- Comfortable lifting and working with large PA systems
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Strong work ethic and attitude
- Happy to work away at festivals for a small number of weeks in the summer
- Full UK driving license for at least 2 years, with less than 6 points
- Our company vehicle insurance only insures people over 22
- Experience in events and audio installation not necessary but preferred
