Full job description

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a reliable and accurate Report Typist to join our small, busy office-based team.

The role will primarily involve typing technical vehicle inspection reports from dictation provided by our engineers. The successful candidate will have good keyboard skills, excellent attention to detail and a strong standard of written English.

Previous experience in audio typing or a similar role would be advantageous; however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good keyboard and typing skills
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • A good command of written English
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous audio typing experience would be advantageous but is not essential

WORKING HOURS

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • 9.00am to 5.30pm
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break
