Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and specialty items with attention to detail and consistency
  • Follow established recipes and food safety standards to ensure high-quality products
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, decorating, and plating baked items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with health regulations
  • Monitor baking processes to ensure proper cooking times and temperatures are met
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining efficiency and quality
  • Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food production, baking, or kitchen environments; restaurant experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and other culinary tools
  • Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Passion for baking and culinary arts with a desire to learn new techniques
  • Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
