Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving high-quality beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Greet guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change where applicable
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
  • Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Proven time management abilities to ensure prompt service during busy periods
