Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bar staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in both the culinary and hospitality sectors will play a crucial role in enhancing our patrons' experience. We are a busy sports venue and are looking for a positive "can do" candidate.

Duties

  • Supervise and lead the bar team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Oversee daily bar operations, including cellar management, function room set up, inventory management, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment and controlling staff shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards to provide a safe environment for both staff and guests.

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Monitor financial performance of the bar, implementing strategies to maximise profitability while maintaining quality service.
