Braxted Park Estate is one of Essex’s leading country estate wedding and events venues, hosting over 100 weddings per year alongside corporate events, private celebrations and high-profile occasions. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Front of House Manager to lead our on-the-ground event delivery and ensure every guest experience is flawless.

This is a hands-on position at the heart of a busy, high-end events operation.

About the Role

As Front of House Manager, you will oversee the smooth execution of weddings and events from start to finish. You will be the visible, calm and confident presence during events — supporting couples, liaising with suppliers and leading our service teams to deliver an exceptional standard of hospitality.

You will work closely with our Planning/Office, Kitchen and Bar teams to ensure that every detail is delivered with precision, warmth and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading Front of House teams during weddings and events
  • Acting as the main operational point of contact for clients and guests on the day
  • Ensuring timelines run smoothly and standards remain exceptional throughout

Team Management

  • Briefing, motivating and supervising waiting and bar teams
  • Ensuring service standards are consistently high
  • Creating a positive, professional team culture during events

Guest Experience

  • Providing a warm, confident and professional presence
  • Handling queries and resolving issues quickly and discreetly
  • Ensuring every guest interaction reflects the quality of Braxted Park

Operational Excellence

  • Overseeing food and beverage service
  • Managing bar operations and cash handling where required
  • Supporting event set-up, turnaround and venue presentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and service standards

About You

We are looking for someone who combines hospitality polish with operational strength.

You will be:

  • Experienced in hospitality or events management
  • A confident leader who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Calm under pressure and solution-focused
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing teams and guest expectations
  • Flexible and available to work weekends, evenings and long event days

Experience in weddings or large-scale events is a must.
