Full job description

Looking for a QC role where you can do more than just run the same tests every day?

At BSPG Laboratories, you'll be joining a friendly Quality Control team within a growing GMP manufacturing business based at Discovery Park.

Unlike larger organisations where roles can become highly specialised, our analysts enjoy a varied workload and work closely with Production and Quality Assurance. You'll have the opportunity to broaden your experience, contribute ideas and become a valued member of a small, supportive team.

We're looking for someone with previous GMP laboratory experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.

What you'll be doing

Working within our Quality Control laboratory, you'll support the manufacture of our GMP-grade cannabidiol (CBD) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) by carrying out analytical and physical testing to ensure products consistently meet quality standards.

Your work will include:

· HPLC and other analytical testing

· Supporting manufacturing schedules

· Reviewing analytical data

· Laboratory investigations and problem solving

· Writing reports and maintaining GMP documentation

· Reviewing SOPs and analytical methods

· Working closely with QA and Production

· Helping maintain laboratory equipment and high housekeeping standards

We'd love to hear from you if you:

Have experience working in a GMP QC laboratory, have practical HPLC experience, enjoy variety and learning new skills, like working as part of a small, supportive team, take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work and want a role where your ideas and contribution genuinely make a difference.

Why join BSPG?

As a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer, every member of our team makes a genuine contribution.

Here you'll have the chance to:

Get involved in a wide range of laboratory activities, build your technical skills rather than becoming highly specialised, work closely with experienced colleagues across QC, QA and Production, have your ideas heard, see the direct impact of your work and develop your career as the business continues to grow.

Salary & Benefits

· £29,000

· Permanent full-time position

· Monday-Friday working

· 31 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)

· Company Pension

· Company Bonus Scheme

· Private Health Care

· Death in Service Benefit

· On-site parking

· Modern facilities located at Discovery Park Science Park

· Access to on-site gym and Cafeteria

· Opportunities for professional development

If you're looking for a role where your contribution is recognised, your ideas are welcomed and you'll become a valued member of a close-knit team, we'd love to hear from you.
