Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician specialising in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about quality assurance and analysis within a laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting testing procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision in all tasks. Prior experience in EMC testing or related fields is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Duties

  • Conduct EMC tests on various electronic devices and components in accordance with established protocols.
  • Record, analyse, and interpret test data accurately to assess compliance with relevant standards.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarising test results, observations, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and optimisation of testing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support quality assurance processes by verifying the integrity of test samples and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience or strong interest in quality assurance, analysis, or laboratory testing environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to document findings clearly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of EMC standards and testing procedures is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
