Full job description
We're looking for a Biomedical Scientist to join a HSE hospital laboratory in Kildare. This agency opportunity offers Monday to Friday hours, giving you the chance to develop your experience while maintaining a great work-life balance.

What You'll Need
- CORU registration (or eligibility for registration)
- A recognised qualification in Biomedical Science
- Previous laboratory experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to complete)
- Overseas Police Clearance, where applicable
- Up-to-date immunisations, including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella and TB screening
Your Role
- Perform routine and specialised laboratory testing on patient samples
- Analyse, interpret and accurately record laboratory results
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in line with quality standards
- Follow laboratory policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of high-quality patient care
