Head of Operations/Senior Operations Manager – Multi-Site Branded Restaurant Group

Location: Manchester/North West/Yorkshire/North East/Midlands

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 + Car allowance & various benefits

***Senior multi-site managers only - no single site GMs***

An opportunity for an experienced Senior Operations Manager/Head of Operations to join a well-respected branded restaurant business with a mixture of both managed and franchised operations.

This is a genuinely hands-on role, taking responsibility for operational performance across a multi-site estate. You'll lead a team of Area Managers, drive standards and trading performance, and work closely with the wider business to improve results and support continued growth.

You'll be someone who is comfortable being out in the operation, getting involved where it's needed and making things happen. The role will include:

  • Driving trading performance, commercial targets and operational standards
  • Leading and developing a team of Area Managers
  • Supporting underperforming sites and leading turnaround activity
  • Building strong relationships with managers, operators and key stakeholders
  • Coaching teams and creating accountability across the estate
  • Using P&L, KPI and operational data to make sound decisions
  • Supporting new openings and business growth
  • Improving systems, processes and ways of working
  • Working with suppliers and internal teams to improve operational performance
  • Ensuring a strong customer experience and awareness of local market conditions
  • Making clear, sometimes difficult decisions and managing issues through to resolution

We're looking for someone with strong multi-site hospitality experience, ideally within branded restaurants, QSR, branded food operations or another fast-paced customer-facing hospitality environment.

You'll need to be commercially aware, confident with P&Ls and KPIs, and have experience of leading teams across multiple locations. Experience of working within both a managed and partner-operated environment would be highly advantageous.

Knowledge of operational systems such as EPOS & stock or workforce management platforms etc would also be useful.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive, decisive and resilient, with the confidence to build strong relationships while also having difficult conversations when required.

This is a field-facing role for someone who wants to be close to the operation and make a tangible difference, rather than simply providing strategic oversight from behind a desk.

Salary package: £60,000–£70,000 + car allowance & various benefits

Location: Manchester, with regular travel required.

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
