Tippers are the Midlands' leading builders’ merchant suppliers and we are looking for an enthusiastic, safety-conscious HGV Volumetric Concrete Driver to join our team at our Britannia Way Branch. If you enjoy working independently, delivering excellent customer service, and take pride in operating and maintaining your vehicle to a high standard, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering volumetric concrete safely and efficiently to customers across the local area
  • Providing a professional and reliable service, ensuring deliveries arrive on time
  • Operating the volumetric concrete mixer in line with company procedures and safety standards
  • Carrying out daily and weekly vehicle checks and reporting any defects or incidents
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining a strong focus on Health & Safety and compliance at all times
  • Keeping the vehicle clean, well-presented and jet washed at the end of each day
  • Working closely with customers and colleagues to provide excellent service

What we're looking for

  • HGV Class 2 Licence with valid CPC qualification
  • Positive, reliable and self-motivated attitude
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent timekeeping and commitment to high standards
  • Safety-conscious approach with attention to detail
  • Volumetric concrete mixer experience would be advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided
  • Understanding of concrete mixes and applications would be beneficial

Working hours between 7:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday
Alternate Saturday mornings (8:00am – 14:00 noon)
