Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Joiner will work on a variety of projects, including roofs and other carpentry-related assignments. Mainly Site work with some optional residential work undertaken.

Must able to commute to site and have own tools. CSCS required.

Duties

  • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications and design plans.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly and installation of materials.
  • Ensure all work is plumb, level, and meets quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including carpenters and masons, to ensure project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Skills

  • Proven experience in joinery with a strong understanding of fabrication techniques.
  • Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools relevant to the joinery trade
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members on-site.
