Do you want to work in a brand-new school?

Prosperity Children’s Services are opening a new school, which will provide education for students aged 5 to 16 years, who have a range of additional needs and talents. Many students will have experienced multiple ACE’s.

Whilst there will be many challenges the rewards will be plentiful too, as we support students to have a more positive experience of education. We already have amazing school buildings, but we know that the best resource of all will be our staff team.

You will be working with children who have a range of diagnoses and special needs. You will be part of a staff team who are well supported and trained to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, identify their strengths and interests, and above all make learning accessible to all.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who is passionate about supporting our pupils to reach their full potential and experience success. Our staff must be skilled to work creatively and flexibly to engage students and ignite their enthusiasm.

As a small setting it is likely that you will be teaching a variety of subjects alongside your specialism.

Safer Recruitment Policy

The Willows School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

As part of the selection process, we will undertake checks to ensure that you do not pose a risk of harm to children and young people. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon a variety of satisfactory pre-employment checks including checks with past employers, an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Check, an online search, satisfactory references and medical clearance.
