Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyman/woman to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, renovation, and maintenance tasks across various facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our properties remain safe, functional, and visually appealing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your diverse skill set in a fast-paced environment where proactive problem-solving and attention to detail are highly valued.

Duties

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance across multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, roofing, and painting.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks such as installing fixtures, repairing structures, or fabricating custom solutions.
  • Perform roofing repairs or replacements to ensure the integrity of building exteriors.
  • Address plumbing issues by fixing leaks, unclogging drains, or installing new fixtures.
  • Carry out masonry work such as patching walls, laying bricks or blocks, and repairing concrete surfaces.
  • Weld or fabricate metal components as needed for structural or aesthetic purposes.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project or repair.

Experience

  • Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles with a strong background in multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work.
  • Familiarity with construction painting techniques and finishing work is preferred.
  • Proficiency using hand tools (saws, hammers, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders).
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes and ability to work with various materials such as wood, metal, and concrete.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions independently.
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
