Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled operative to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. We are looking for an individual who is keen to develop within the maintenance environment maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance across various systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical skills in a fast-paced setting that values safety, quality, and teamwork.

Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure to identify potential issues before they escalate
  • Perform maintenance tasks including welding, mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and component replacements
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control automated processes effectively
  • Maintain records of maintenance work completed, parts used, and system updates for accountability and future reference
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from operations staff or management to minimize downtime
