Uniting Talent are currently recruiting for a Chartered Building Surveyor for our client based in Darlington.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and analyses to determine land boundaries, topography, and other physical features. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
  • Analyse survey data to prepare reports and maps for clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate project specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of survey findings, methodologies, and equipment used.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards throughout the surveying process.
  • Provide expert advice on land use, property boundaries, and development opportunities.
  • Stay updated with advancements in surveying technology and methodologies.

Experience

  • Must have MRICS or FRICS qualification
  • Proven experience in conducting condition surveys and property valuations.
  • Strong understanding of building pathology, construction techniques, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
