Love Making People Laugh? Get Paid to Be the Highlight of Someone’s Birthday!

If you’re the person who’ loves being the centre of attention, and isn’t afraid to be a little bit silly, this could be the perfect weekend job.

At DNA Kids, we don’t just host birthday parties—we create unforgettable memories. Every weekend, our entertainers walk into a room full of excited children and leave as the person they’ll still be talking about weeks later.

Whether you’re an actor, performer, teacher, sports coach, musician, presenter or simply someone with a big personality, we’ll give you the training and support to become an amazing children’s entertainer.

Earn up to £330 per day, enjoy flexible weekend work and join one of the UK’s most established children’s entertainment companies.

Why DNA Kids?

For over 35 years, DNA Kids has been making birthdays unforgettable.

Since 1991 we’ve:

  • Hosted 91,000+ children’s parties
  • Deliver 5,500+ parties every year
  • Built one of the UK’s most recognised children’s entertainment brands

Thousands of families trust us every year because our entertainers bring incredible energy, confidence and fun to every single party.

This Isn’t Just Another Job…

One minute you’ll be leading 30 children through hilarious party games.

The next you’ll have parents laughing, children cheering and an entire room bursting with energy.

No two weekends are ever the same.

If standing in front of a room full of people excites you rather than scares you, you’ll probably love this role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hosting exciting birthday parties for children aged 3–14
  • Leading energetic party games and activities
  • Keeping children laughing, engaged and involved
  • Creating unforgettable memories for families
  • Bringing huge amounts of energy and enthusiasm
  • Keeping parties running smoothly from start to finish

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll probably be a great fit if you:

  • Love making people laugh
  • Have a naturally fun, outgoing personality
  • Enjoy performing or being in front of a crowd
  • Can think on your feet
  • Bring lots of energy wherever you go
  • Are confident talking to both children and adults
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Are available to work weekends

You do not need previous children’s entertainer experience.

If you’ve done acting, musical theatre, drama, sports coaching, teaching, holiday camps, customer service, presenting—or you’re simply someone who lights up a room—we’d love to hear from you.

Where You’ll Work

You’ll host parties across Manchester and the surrounding areas, including:

  • Manchester
  • Salford
  • Stockport
  • Bolton
  • Oldham
  • Bury

Most entertainers travel around 30–60 minutes from home, and we always aim to schedule parties efficiently wherever possible.

What You’ll Earn

  • Earn up to £330 per day
  • Flexible weekend work
  • Optional midweek parties and school events
  • Regular bookings throughout the year
  • Ongoing support from an experienced office team

Most entertainers host 1–3 parties per day, depending on availability and travel.

Training Made Easy

Our brand-new online training platform allows you to learn around your existing commitments.

You’ll:

  • Complete much of your training from home
  • Attend practical training with experienced entertainers
  • Build your confidence before hosting your own parties
  • Continue accessing training materials whenever you need them

No previous experience? No problem—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Ready to Be the Best Part of Someone’s Weekend?

If you’re energetic, confident, love entertaining people and want a role that’s genuinely fun, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply through Indeed today, complete our short online application and show us your personality during a telephone interview and Zoom or self-tape audition.

You could be training within days and hosting unforgettable parties before you know it.

Pay: Up to £330.00 per day

Work Location: On the road
