Job Summary

Join our welcoming and vibrant tea room as a dedicated Tea Room Assistant! In this lively role, you will be the friendly face ensuring our guests enjoy a delightful experience through excellent service, food presentation, and a warm atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for visitors seeking a relaxing tea experience. Responsibilities

  • Serve a variety of teas, beverages, and light snacks with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Prepare food items according to safety standards, including sandwiches, pastries, and other light refreshments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tea room area, including tables, counters, and display areas
  • Assist with food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, taking orders and addressing any special requests or dietary needs
  • Restock supplies regularly to ensure the tea room remains inviting and fully stocked
  • Support team members during busy periods by helping with food preparation and serving tasks

Skills

  • Experience in catering or food service environments, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and hospitality excellence
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
  • Barista experience is neccesary, especially in brewing quality teas or coffee beverages
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality roles is highly desirable
