Café Manager – Wolfox Coffee, Brighton

Are you a passionate and experienced coffee professional looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Wolfox Speciality Coffee is seeking a Café Manager to lead the team at one of our Brighton locations.

About Wolfox

Wolfox is an independent speciality coffee brand founded in Brighton. We are passionate about exceptional coffee, thoughtful design and warm, memorable hospitality. Our cafés are welcoming spaces where quality, creativity and community come together.

The Role

As Café Manager, you will take ownership of the venue, ensuring smooth daily operations while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

This position requires a confident and experienced leader who understands speciality coffee, inspires their team and is eager to contribute to the continued growth of the Wolfox brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Lead, train and support a team of baristas and front-of-house staff.
  • Ensure the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality speciality coffee.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of customer service.
  • Manage stock levels, orders, supplier relationships and inventory.
  • Monitor staffing, rotas, labour costs and operational expenses.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial and performance targets.
  • Represent the Wolfox brand and create memorable experiences for every guest.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a speciality coffee environment.
  • Previous café management or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speciality coffee preparation and service.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.
  • A commercially aware and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy environment.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
