Shift Pattern

Our shift pattern is on a 6-day rolling rota and is 2 early shifts (3.30am-1pm), then 2 late shifts (12.30pm-10pm), then 2 days off. You will be required to reliably travel into Gatwick Airport at 3.30am for your early shifts.

This is a fixed term contract, set to end on 31st October 2026. They may be opportunity to become permanent.

Role

As Team Host, you deliver excellent service and champion the guest experience across the lounge. You work as part of a team and are multi-skilled in performing a variety of roles within the lounge. You are a brand ambassador for No.1 Lounges and engage with each guest to deliver a great experience every time. Whilst upholding No1’s company values, having the passion to create memorable experiences; committed to excellence with your service; embracing creativity in your role; being part of our community.

This is a multi-skilled role with excellent training provided for each of the below areas:

• Floor (Server): You take ownership of your section(s) allocated on shift, taking pride in your area of responsibility and having a keen eye for detail. Engaging with every guest during your shift.
• Food Service: You will be running food from the kitchen and looking after the self-serve food area. Providing great communication with the kitchen team.
• Bar: As a bartender, you provide a speedy but personable service, maintaining consistently with high levels of drink service and aiming to exceed guests' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service with an in-depth knowledge of our products & services
• Follow all food and beverage handling guidelines in line with No.1 company policies and procedures.
• Assisting with any ad-hoc duties when required such as back of house duties.
• Always being organized and prepared
• Be willing to help other team members wherever possible and to understand the flexibility required when business levels peak and trough
• Have a clean and presentable uniform in line with company standards

Requirements

Due to the nature of working at the airport the below will be required

• You will need to have a valid passport
• You will need to be authorised to work in the United Kingdom
• You will be asked to complete 5 years of employment/education, so living in the UK for the past 5 years is desired
• You must have a clean criminal
