Care Home Host / Hostess

£12.71 per hour | Full or Part Time | 12-hour shifts (1 hour unpaid break) | Onsite parking

This is a busy, hands-on hospitality role in a fast-paced care home environment.

We’re looking for an energetic, friendly and reliable Host/Hostess to help create a welcoming atmosphere for our residents across our communal areas, including our Pub, Café and Cinema Room.

This is a varied and energetic role that involves staying active throughout your shift — maintaining presentation standards, supporting residents with refreshments and helping with daily activities and events.

The role includes:

  • Keeping communal areas clean, tidy and well stocked
  • Serving drinks and refreshments
  • Assisting with functions and activities
  • Working closely with the Lifestyle Team
  • Encouraging residents to maintain independence
  • Communicating feedback to management

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a positive, can-do attitude
  • Is organised and able to prioritise in a busy environment
  • Is comfortable with a physically active role
  • Works well independently and as part of a team

Hospitality experience is welcome but not essential — the right attitude and work ethic are most important.

This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference — but you must be prepared for a full, active 12-hour shift.

Apply today – this role will fill quickly.

Pay: £25,445.42 per year

Benefits:

  • On-site parking

Experience:

  • hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
