Part-Time Barista & Coffee House Host – The Garden Room at B Home DesignMossblown, Ayrshire | Launching November 2026Part-time | Wage dependent on experience

We’re looking for an experienced, friendly and creative Barista to join us as we launch The Garden Room, a brand-new coffee shop within B Home Design’s interiors showroom in Mossblown.

The Garden Room is being created as somewhere a little different — a beautiful, relaxed space where great coffee, interiors, shopping and community come together.

As we’re launching from the beginning, we’re looking for someone who wants to get involved and help us shape The Garden Room — from creating great coffee and developing new drinks to helping us capture what’s happening for social media.

The role will include:

  • Preparing and serving high-quality coffees and hot & cold drinks
  • Serving cakes and a small selection of light food
  • Providing warm, friendly customer service
  • Keeping the coffee shop clean, organised and beautifully presented
  • Helping develop seasonal and signature drinks
  • Bringing ideas for new drinks, specials and presentation
  • Taking photos and short videos for Instagram/TikTok
  • Helping create simple, natural social media content — coffees, new products, behind-the-scenes and day-to-day life in The Garden Room
  • Helping us build a welcoming atmosphere and community around the coffee shop

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have previous barista experience
  • Are confident using a professional coffee machine
  • Have a genuine interest in coffee and current drinks trends
  • Are friendly, reliable and great with customers
  • Have a good eye for presentation
  • Are comfortable using Instagram/TikTok and creating simple reels, stories and photos
  • Are creative and enjoy bringing new ideas
  • Would love to be involved in growing a new independent coffee shop from the beginning

You don’t need to be a professional content creator — we’re looking for someone who naturally enjoys social media and has a good eye for what looks great.

This is a part-time position, with working days and hours to be discussed.

Wage dependent on experience.
