Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidates will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a lively and fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality sector, including catering, serving, and food preparation, while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival
  • Taking orders accurately and serving food and beverages with professionalism
  • Assisting with food preparation and presentation as needed
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
  • Restocking and ensuring the counter is clean and presentable
  • Managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimise customer flow
  • Handling payments accurately and providing excellent customer service throughout
  • Maintaining knowledge of menu items, including special dietary options
  • Upholding food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Supporting barista duties if required, including preparing coffee and other beverages
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Skills

  • Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of allergen safety procedures
  • Experience in restaurant service or barista work is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary
