Established in 2017, Miss Polly Cafe is an independent cafe based at East Molesey Cricket Club serving restaurant quality food cooked to order. Using fresh and, where possible, local ingredients, we are passionate about the food that we create and the impeccable customer service that we offer.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Barista/Supervisor who shares our passion for exceptional customer service and impeccable standards; someone that will be a central member of our team and assist in leading the front of house. Reporting to the Front of House manager, you will be responsible with the day to day day running of the cafe and assisting with staff rostering, stock ordering, cleaning schedules and assisting with a range of other administration tasks. Working predominantly during the day, 5 days per week (weekends essential), you will contribute immensely to a successful team. As with all the roles within the company, there will be opportunities and room to progress.
About you:
You will be an outgoing, empathetic and strong individual with a flair for dealing with people both customers and your team. You will be a natural leader, someone that leads through hard work dedication. You will have prior experience in running a busy cafe or similar establishment and will be adept at multi-tasking and thinking on your feet as this job requires. Your priority will be the customer experience ensuring that each and every guest feels like they have been given the VIP treatment. A sound knowledge of coffee and strong barista skills would be strongly preferred.
