Full job description

Cornish Bakehouse sells authentic Cornish Pasties which are handmade in Cornwall and baked fresh in our shops. Freshly made sandwiches, baguettes, pizzas, paninis and hot drinks also add to our overall take-away food offering.

We need an experienced supervisor to work on a flexible part-time basis in our shop in the town centre in Norwich.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about food quality, hardworking and keen to succeed in a growing company.

You need to:-

  • Demonstrate previous supervisory experience
  • Prepare, bake and sell our products
  • Be motivational to our staff
  • Provide exceptional service to our customers
  • Adhere to health & safety and food hygiene regulations
  • Be competent in the cashing up procedure
  • Assist in shop clean down during and at the end of the day
  • Handle deliveries in accordance with company policy and health & safety standards
  • Be available to work flexibly during the week and at weekends on a rota basis
  • Take responsibility as a nominated key holder

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience of managing a team in a retail setting
  • Barista trained
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and staff
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and demonstrate strong time management skills
  • Proficiency in organisational abilities

Previous experience of working in a food retailing, catering or other retailing environment is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
