Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista staff to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and food and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and preparation standards are met. Applicants must be over the age of 17.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, prepare food to a high standard .
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills to process payments.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation of orders while maintaining quality standards.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and improve service skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• A genuine passion for coffee, freshly prepared food and customer service is essential.
