⭐ The Role

You’ll run the café day‑to‑day, ensuring families have a brilliant experience from the moment they walk in. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing & serving food — simple, fresh menu items, hot drinks, snacks and children’s meals
  • Organising the diary — bookings, sessions, party slots and staff scheduling
  • Managing supplies — ordering stock, monitoring usage, maintaining equipment
  • Hosting children’s parties — delivering fun, well‑run celebrations with excellent customer service
  • Cleaning & maintaining standards — ensuring the café and play areas are spotless, safe and welcoming

⭐ About You

You’ll thrive in a lively environment and enjoy working with families. We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Warm and customer‑focused with a natural ability to make people feel welcome
  • Organised and proactive — able to keep the café running smoothly
  • Confident working independently and making decisions
  • Experienced in food service or hospitality (desirable but not essential)
  • Creative and fun — especially when hosting parties or themed sessions

⭐ Hours & Pay

  • 32.5 hours per week
  • Shift pattern: Tuesday–Saturday
  • Café open 9.00am–3.30pm, with occasional party extensions or special events

⭐ Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a small, supportive team and have the chance to shape a growing community space. This role is perfect for someone who loves children, enjoys variety, and takes pride in running a clean, organised and welcoming café.

Pay: £22,500.00-£23,500.00 per year
