Calderdale has a vision for 2034 as a place where you can realise your potential whoever you are.
Calderdale Council has completed a fundamental and cross council review of enforcement and has implemented a holistic problem-solving approach based on engagement, education, and enforcement to deliver better outcomes for communities.
This approach brings together, under a single service lead, many of the Council services that include enforcement as part of their statutory and non–statutory duties.
You will work as part of the Community Safety Enforcement Team delivering on the Council’s enforcement approach based on Engagement, Education and Enforcement (3 Es) tackling issues in relation to Community Safety, Licensing, Environmental Health and other enforcement work.
You will be part of a dynamic team who are responsible for the response and investigation of complaints and/ or offences in relation to Anti-Social Behaviour, Environmental Nuisance, Licensing, Housing, and other relevant enforcement legislation. You will also work alongside the wider Community Protection Team in reaching shared outcomes.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in working as part of a team environment which is committed to driving forward the service in challenging times.
If you are looking for a unique opportunity to gain further experience and knowledge in enforcement and regulatory activity as well as Environmental Health, Licensing and Anti-social Behaviour then you are looking at the right place.
