About the Role
As an EMEA COR Remote Monitoring Expert, you will play a critical role in maximizing customer uptime and service excellence for one of BD’s most strategically important diagnostic platforms across the EMEA region.
Reporting to the EMEA DS Remote Services & Instrument Performance Manager and operating within the Diagnostic Solutions Technical Services team, you will leverage advanced monitoring tools, technical expertise, and data-driven insights to proactively identify performance risks, assess service cases, and drive timely interventions. Working closely with Remote Support, Field Service, Quality, and regional leadership teams, you will lead escalation activities, coordinate corrective actions, and help ensure optimal instrument performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor BD COR system performance and proactively identify potential risks to customer operations.
- Review and prioritize monitoring alerts, escalations, and service cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Provide expert technical guidance to Remote Support and Field Service teams across the EMEA region.
- Support remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and case management to improve service efficiency and customer uptime.
- Analyze performance trends and recurring issues to drive preventive actions and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to product readiness, upgrades, and field corrective actions in line with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen service governance and operational excellence.
- Maintain accurate documentation, escalation management, and reporting in compliance with BD processes and quality standards.
About you :
- Degree in engineering, electronics, physics, life sciences, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in field service, remote technical support, instrument support, monitoring operations, or service operations within diagnostics, medical devices, or a similarly regulated technical environment.
- Strong technical understanding of connected systems, software, networking, and troubleshooting workflows; familiarity with LIS and database environments is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to assess complex operational situations, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced customer support environment.
- Experience working across functions and influencing stakeholders in an international organization, with a structured and disciplined approach to service governance and quality compliance.
- Experience using service systems, monitoring tools, dashboards, and case management platforms; ServiceMax and Azure DevOps experience is an advantage.
- Experience working with Databases, SQL queries and Python is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate credibly with technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA when required up to 10%
