Full job description

Teen-Works Care are looking to recruit a Child Care Worker to join the existing team in their Childrens Home in Maghull. The home is registered to provide care for up to four children/young people generally between the ages of 11-17yrs of age who may have social, emotional and/or behavioural issues. Responsibilities include providing day to day care for the young people, developing relationships, being a positive role model, completing required paperwork, to name but a few. This post involves shift work including weekends and also sleep in duties which are paid by way of an extra allowance.

This post comes with a 30hour/week contract

Due to the nature of the role, experience of working in a similar residential setting would be hugely beneficial as would any relevant qualifications and training.
