Immediate Start

10 hours a week

Monday to Friday

Term Time Only

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team, providing exceptional service at Wherwell Primary School

This is a rewarding role and the hours provide a great work-life balance.

Duties

  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health & safety regulations
  • Set-up and take-down 12 tables plus chairs for lunch service, sweep hall after service
  • Temperature check, display and serve approximately 75 delivered student meals
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation of catering area before, during, and after service
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with staff and students

This position offers an engaging environment for those passionate about hospitality and customer service. We welcome applicants eager to contribute positively to our team while developing their skills within the catering sector.

School life revolves around time-tables and lunchtimes are set in stone. To ensure that we meet our client's needs, we expect punctuality and full attendance from everyone. Our kitchens are staffed by small teams who rely on and support each other. This is a term-time only role, so please note that no absence can be requested or authorised during term time.
