Job: Catering Assistant

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Job Ref: Burbage

Hours Per Week: 15 hours per week Mon - Fri, 11am-2pm (Term Time only)

Work Location area: Hinckley LE10 2AD

Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to work within our Education Sector in a Local Primary School in the LE10 area of Burbage - Hinckley

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with preparation of meals for the children in line with Company policies and procedure.
  • Assisting in the service of the children at lunch time.
  • General cleaning and tidying of the kitchen and food areas.
  • Must be highly reliable.
  • Good team player.

Deliver into serve so no cooking required. Will be required to unpack food and set up the servery including the dinner hall . Serve the children dinner within the guidelines, clean down and pack away. Work closely with Junior school over the road. Food safety and health and safety compliant.

Uniform and training will be provided.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and/or vulnerable adults. All appointments are subject to appropriate safeguarding checks, including DBS clearance.
