Job Overview

SAAJ Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of a respected client for a Catering Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join a busy and professional catering environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with catering or kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Duties

  • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Set up and maintain dining and service areas to a high standard.
  • Ensure excellent hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Organise, store, and manage ingredients and kitchen materials efficiently.
  • Assist with food preparation and storage in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the kitchen team with general catering and kitchen duties.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skill and Requirement

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced catering, hospitality, or kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
  • Available to start immediately (preferred).
  • Willingness to undergo a standard DBS check.
