You’ll be joining our Procurement Department within our office called Support Centre, which is in Greater Manchester (M26 1GG).

• The role is permanent and full time

• Hybrid working arrangements - two days per week in the office

Your future, your role

As an Purchasing Assistant, you’ll be:

• Providing administrative support to the Procurement Team. Maintain and Manage all tasks relating to Data Management on the Proactis Database

• Liaising with Practices, {my}dentist Clinical Team and Suppliers to maintain and update the supplier databases with site specific product data.

• Supporting our practices with queries relating to our supply base through our centralised call logging and ticketing system and managing queries these against internal service levels.

• Monitoring and reduction of back orders by highlighting issues, raising and cancelling down orders to ensure practices have consistent availability of stock.

• Liaising with the Category Buyers to ensure that all supplier, product and price data are correct and fall in line with contractually agreed terms

Skills and Experience:

• Administration Experience

• Good telephone manner

• Willingness to learn and be proactive
