Full-Time Construction Cleaner – Lostwithiel Area
£14.00 per hour | Permanent | Company Van Share

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join one of our established cleaning teams based in the Lostwithiel area.

This vacancy has become available due to one member of the existing team relocating at the end of October. You will be working alongside an experienced member of our team, so we are ideally looking for someone local to Lostwithiel or the surrounding area who is looking for a long-term, permanent position.

The role involves cleaning on construction sites throughout Cornwall, including new-build houses/buildings and site welfare facilities such as toilets, offices and canteens.

Duties include sweeping, hoovering, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, paint removal, floor tape removal and general builders/sparkle cleaning.

What we're looking for:

  • Reliable, responsible and able to work well as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Full driving licence – essential due to the nature of the role
  • Cleaning or construction-site cleaning experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel to different sites throughout Cornwall
  • Flexibility during busy periods

A company van/van share will be provided for the successful candidate.

A CSCS card is required for construction-site work. If you don't currently have one, we are willing to support the right candidate with obtaining their card. The cost of the required one-day online Health & Safety course and CSCS test would initially be paid by the candidate and refunded in their first month's wages.

Hours: Normally Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm. Additional hours may be required during busy periods, including earlier starts, later finishes and occasional weekend work.

Start date: Ideally during October to allow time to work alongside the existing team before the current team member relocates.
