Cleaner / Facilities Operative

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our growing facilities management business.

For us, character matters more than cleaning experience.

We can train someone how to clean to a high standard. What we’re looking for is someone who turns up when they say they will, takes responsibility for their work, communicates well and genuinely cares about doing a good job.

This could suit someone with cleaning experience, but we’d equally welcome applications from people coming from hospitality, retail, care, maintenance, warehousing or another background where reliability and hard work matter.

The role

You’ll be responsible for keeping our client’s premises clean, tidy and presentable.

Typical duties will include:

⁠ ⁠General cleaning of offices and communal areas

⁠ ⁠Cleaning kitchens and washrooms

⁠ ⁠Vacuuming, mopping and surface cleaning

⁠ ⁠Emptying waste and recycling

⁠ ⁠Replenishing consumables

⁠ ⁠Identifying and reporting any maintenance or building issues you notice

⁠ ⁠Making sure the site is left to a consistently high standard

Full training will be provided.

Progression will depend on performance, reliability and business requirements, but we are genuinely interested in developing good people from within.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
