Full job description

Manchester Businesses (@manchester_businesses) is one of Manchester’s largest Instagram business promotion pages, with over 428,000 followers. We help local businesses increase their visibility through Instagram posts, stories and promotional campaigns. Visit our Instagram page to see the businesses we’ve worked with and the results we deliver.

We are looking for confident, motivated individuals to join our team on a commission-only basis.

What you’ll do

  • Visit local businesses across Manchester including shops, cafés, restaurants, salons, barbers, gyms and other independent businesses.
  • Introduce our Instagram advertising services.
  • Explain our advertising packages.
  • Ask interested business owners to message our Instagram page @manchester_businesses to confirm their booking.
  • Once payment has been received, you’ll receive 50% commission on every successful sale.

Commission

This is a 100% commission-only role with no basic salary.

You earn 50% of every package you sell.

Examples:

  • £30 package = £15 commission
  • £50 package = £25 commission
  • £75 package = £37.50 commission
  • £100 package = £50 commission
  • £300 package = £150 commission
  • £550 package = £275 commission
  • £750 package = £375 commission
  • £1,500 package = £750 commission

All commission is paid daily. As soon as the customer has paid for their advertising package and the payment has been confirmed, your commission will be paid the same day.

There is no limit to how much you can earn.

Requirements

  • Friendly and confident personality.
  • Comfortable speaking to business owners face-to-face.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sales experience is helpful but not required.
  • Must be able to travel around Manchester.
