Self-Employed Solar Sales Consultant – Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire Fusion Solar UK | Commission-Only | Uncapped Earnings | Experienced Candidates Only

Fusion Solar UK is a Sheffield-based solar and battery storage installer with over 16 years of experience. MCS accredited, NAPIT registered, and built on a reputation for quality installations and honest, long-term customer relationships. We're expanding into the Nottingham and Derby area and need an experienced solar sales professional who's ready to do things differently.

The honest truth about solar sales: Most solar salespeople are operating in a crowded, noisy market — competing on price, rushing the close, and moving on. Customers are sceptical, conversions are hard, and referrals are rare.

It doesn't have to be that way.

We've spent 16 years developing a sales process that works — not because it's clever or manipulative, but because it builds genuine trust. Customers who trust you don't shop around. They sign. They refer. They leave reviews. They become the foundation of a territory that generates its own momentum.

If you come in with the right attitude and commit to learning and following our process, your conversion rate will go up, your earnings will go up, and you'll stand out from every other solar rep knocking on doors in the Midlands.

What we'll train you on:

• The products we use — Sig Energy, Anker, Tesla, and our full range — inside out
• Our survey process and quality standards so you present with confidence
• Our consultative sales technique — refined over 16 years of real installations
• How to educate a customer so the close happens naturally, without pressure
• How to position Fusion Solar against cheaper competitors and win on value

You bring the solar experience and the hunger to grow. We'll give you the process that makes it happen.

What the role involves:

• Attending warm residential leads across Midlands, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas
• Conducting full site surveys following our proven survey checklist
• Designing systems in OpenSolar and presenting tailored proposals
• Closing residential solar, battery storage, and EV charging installations
• Self-generating commercial leads — serious earning upside on larger contracts

The target: Minimum 12 completed installations per month from month 3 onwards. Follow the process and the leads we provide will get you there.

What you'll earn:

• 8% of every signed contract value
• Average residential deal: £15,000–£20,000 → £1,200–£1,600 per install
• 8 installs/month = £9,600–£12,800/month | £115k–£153k/year
• Commercial self-generated deals: £50,000+ → £4,000+ per deal
• +£200 bonus on every self-generated lead you convert
• Paid on installation completion, 7-day turnaround

What we need from you:

• ✅ Minimum 1 year in solar sales
• ✅ Proficient in OpenSolar design software
• ✅ Experienced in conducting full residential site surveys
• ✅ Solid understanding of MCS process, DNO applications, and battery storage
• ✅ The attitude and hunger to learn — ego left at the door
• ✅ Consultative mindset — you sell by building trust, not applying pressure
• ✅ Own vehicle — covering Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire surrounding areas
• ✅ Available for evenings and weekends when needed
• ✅ Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
