Job description

How we make the difference in Technology Engineering

As a Technology Engineering graduate, you’ll help design, build and improve the digital products that support our business and clients. Working in collaborative, agile teams, you’ll turn ideas into practical, user‑focused solutions — thinking creatively, solving problems and learning how modern technology is delivered at scale.

We’re looking for curiosity and adaptability. You don’t need to be a technical expert when you join — what matters most is your willingness to learn, ask questions and challenge how things are done. Over three years, you’ll rotate across different engineering disciplines while learning from experienced Software, Data, Cloud, and QA Engineers. You’ll gain exposure to the full delivery lifecycle—from shaping ideas and designing user‑centred solutions, to building, testing, and deploying software used across our business and by global clients.

You’ll work in supportive, agile teams alongside engineers, product owners, designers, and analysts, where you’ll learn how modern technology solutions are built using cloud platforms and AI‑driven tools.

How you’ll grow with us

Our three‑year graduate programme is designed to help you build strong foundations while exploring different areas of technology engineering. You’ll begin with a structured Engineering Bootcamp, introducing core concepts, tools and ways of working.

As you progress, you’ll develop your technical confidence through hands‑on project work, coaching from senior engineers and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. You’ll learn best‑practice approaches to coding, secure development and solution design, while building the resilience and problem‑solving skills needed to work in a fast‑changing environment.

Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on areas that match your interests and strengths, helping you shape your own career in areas like software engineering, data, cloud, cyber, automation or UX-design.

The teams you’ll work with

You’ll join our Tax Technology & Innovation team, where we build and support cloud‑native products using modern engineering practices, automation and user‑focused design.

Our teams work closely with engineers, analysts, designers and stakeholders across the business to deliver reliable, high‑quality technology solutions.

Throughout the programme, you’ll be supported by a strong network of peers, mentors and leaders who are invested in your development and keen to help you learn and grow.

If you’re motivated by the opportunity to build technology that makes a real difference, Technology Engineering could be the right place for you.
