We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media Content Creator / Waiter (Full Time) to join our vibrant team in Elaichai on Cowley Road, Oxford. This unique role combines the excitement of crafting compelling social media content with the hands-on experience of providing outstanding hospitality. What you'll do

Content and social media

  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) at the café, covering our food, drinks, team, and atmosphere
  • Manage our social media accounts, including posting, scheduling, and keeping a consistent look and voice
  • Build and maintain a content calendar around our menu, events, and seasonal offers
  • Reply to comments and messages in a friendly, on-brand way
  • Track what's working, and use trends and analytics to shape new ideas

Front of house

  • Welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks with a warm, professional manner
  • Keep the dining area clean, tidy, and well presented during service
  • Work closely with the kitchen and the team to keep service running smoothly at busy times

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience creating social media content, especially for Instagram and TikTok. Please include links to your own pages or examples of your work
  • Confident shooting and editing on your phone or camera, using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar
  • A strong eye for food, visuals, and what makes people stop scrolling
  • Hospitality experience is a bonus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn matter most
  • Reliable, organised, and a good team player
  • Right to work in the UK

Skills

  • Strong understanding of public relations principles to effectively communicate our brand message both online and in person
  • Proven experience in social media management, including content creation, scheduling tools, and analytics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect confidently with diverse customers and online audiences
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling through photography and videography
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic team player who is proactive, reliable, and eager to learn new skills

What we offer

  • Pay of £13 to £15 per hour, depending on experience
